Nasira completed her law studies from the University of Toronto Law School in Ontario, Canada. She then articled with the Federal Department of Justice, Canada and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. Since then, she is practicing law. Prior to that she obtained her Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the George Washington University,
Washington DC, USA.
Nasira’s experience includes working with the Department of Justice, Canada; the World Bank; and the International Centner for Civil Society Law. Nasira is a member of the Law society of Ontario (LSO), founding
member of Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA), member
Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association (CMLA), Canadian Bar Association (CBA), Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers (CARL), Toronto Lawyers
Association (TLA), South Asian Bar Association (SABA).
Nasira and her team have helped hundreds of clients in all areas of
immigration, including business and entrepreneur immigration, permanent
residence applications, spousal sponsorships, parental sponsorships,
provincial nominee programs, work permits, study permits, immigration
